Saturn Improvement

Hello All,
I took this improved (over my last one) image of Saturn last night. Not the best seeing but had to try.

LX200 10" f6.3
Tou cam pro / 2x barlow
151 of 184 frames stacked and adjusted in Registax

Ah, the sweet image of success! Your on a roll now.

You certainly aren't kidding about poor seeing conditions (in general, not specific to the image). The Indiana region has been virtually all clouds since last week in October. Only two clear nights have been steady in that time period. All other clear nights (perhaps 5-7) had so much instability that focusing was impossible.

Now if you have good enough seeing, try taking off the f/6.3 and you can get a much larger image. Harder to aim, but worth the effort.
