Hi all,
We had couple days clearing last week so I took some Jupiter images with my TOA130. Since I'm not allowed to use the backyard anymore (grass problem), I have to image from the house deck now. It's good to image from the deck since Jupiter wasn't visible from the backyard until around 2-3 AM, but I have to be a statue while recording the *.avi.
The transparency was pretty good, but the image is a bit soft on details, maybe since Jupiter was still over the roof when I imaged it. But overall, I really enjoy this one.
here're some details:
Time : 00 13 AM PST
Image is 75% of original size.
5.1" refractor @ apprx. f/38.5
Toucam Pro & Powermate 5x
10 fps, Gain 40%, Saturation max., white balance "auto", gamma 20%, brightness 45%.
248 frames out of 1200.
KCCDtools, Registax, and Photoshop.
Clear skies,
Jefferson Teng
