Hi all,

Here is a recent image of M33 which I reprocessed. 7 x 20 min subs; NP-101, G-11, ST-2000XCM. Good seeing, Took some of your advice; kept as fits files until the end, downloaded Noel Carboni's actions (noise reduction and star colour). Pre-processed and aligned in Maxim (trial edition). Comments, suggestions and constructive criticism would be most appreciated.

clear skies,

Jeff

Hi Jeff,
When you stretched the data, did you move the white point, the right side of the histogram? This can cause the bright stars to burn out and turn white. The biggest stars in this field should be golden and the knots in the galaxy should be bluer. I am wondering if you might have burned the color with the stretching?
