M13 in Hercules

The same night I imaged M5 (see post in this forum), I did some experiment with my setup, on M13.

I finally started experimenting with dithering. And also wanted to try some different exposure times on the same object to try and create a bread dynamic range image.

Enough of words, here's the data:

TEC140 @ f7
SXVF-M25C
Tak EM400
Exposures : 10x2min, 8x3min, 4x4min. No darks, no bias, no flats.

Thank you for looking and as always, suggestions and comments are welcomed!

That looks great Emanuele!
I used 3 minute exposures (68 for 204 min total Lum) with my ST2000xm and NP101. I found that much more and I burned out the core. SO I decided to just take more exposures instead of longer. I will do the same with the color data I guess and see what happens.

Nice image of M13 with even stars and no core-burnout.

Nice web site with lots of good pictures.

That is a nice M13. I like the big version. You have lots of edge stars, but can still them into the core.
