It was tiresome, I agree. So was Obama's constant repeat of "Bush", and "The Government", "I", and "Spend" (or "invest"). That is just as scary, if not more. The next 4 years are bleak no matter who gets to be The President. Congress is clueless. After all, it's your elected "representatives" in Congress that pull the strings. Not the President.

Mccains constantly repeating "my friends" crap was really annoying....and kind of creepy.

Yes the "My Friends" thing is creepy, but the scariest thing about the debate was that John McCain looked like a walking cadaver and needed to take a nap for about the next four years . If McCain manages to win I doubt he will be physically able to do the job , that would mean we would have Sarah Palin and her band of religious extremists running the country , now that truly would be scary.

Where do you get "religious extremists" from??? If anyone has any kind of "extreme religion", it's Obama and his beloved Reverend Wright preaching hatred and racism! I know, he "denounced" the Reverend in public, but I seriously doubt he "disowned" his long time friend, and supporter, in private. THAT is scary. Oh, btw, that preacher that Sarah Palin was getting (peaceful) prayer from is from Kenya.. Ring any bells?
And now, you are being age discriminatory? Sheesh!

I can not get the Reverend Wright preaching his hate out of my mind as far as Obama goes. I can not understand what is wrong with the Democratic party that in this election they should of had no trouble at all electing their person for president.

Check out this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QG1vPYbRB7k Apparently Sarah believes in all that "end-time" crap and that the role of her church is to make Alaska "holy" enough to serve as a refuge for the sufficiently devout who will flee there from the lower 48 during the years of tribulation. Add to this the point that the idiot is also a creationist (I know idiot and creationist are redundant), who thinks that men and dinosaurs co-existed and it is clear that the religious extremist title fits her quite well.

White Americans do have a tough time grasping the fact that the rest of the world, particularly the non-white part, does not always see its actions as beneficial, altruistic or fair. As for Wrights' "chickens coming home to roost' sermon, which I believe you are referring to, he is factually correct. 9-11 happened inter alia, because the United States supports Israel. Everytime Israel shells a village, shoots a rock throwing kid, or strafes a refugee camp the money and weapons do so comes directly from Uncle Sam. Also, we allow despotic regimes like the Saudi royal family to stay in power and treat their nation's oil wealth as their personal property, while their population lives in 3rd world conditions. In Iran, we killed a popularly elected prime minister because he was a socialist and installed and propped up the Shah for 25 years. In just the 20th century the U.S. used military force to protect is business or other interests over 200 times. As a result, good chunks of the world population hate the U.S. It was (is) only a matter of time before that hatred came back to hit us.

I don't see where Rev. Wright has stated extreme religious views . His church seems to have pretty much the standard Christian themes . It may be possible to make an argument that Rev. Wright has extreme political views , but I am not in the shoes of a Black man who has lived through a lot more institutionalized injustice and everday prejudice then I have , so I am not going to judge him for his feelings. As for Sarah Palin not having an extreme religious doctrine you have got to be kidding or you just haven't been paying attention. That peaceful prayer you mentioned was being done by a "Witch Doctor" who was "Laying Hands" on Sarah Palin to cast the evil demons out of her body!! By the way after hearing her this past week , it didn't work. Palin's belief that the Earth is only six thousand years old and that man was walking with the dinosaurs , along with a host of other anti-scientific views seals the deal for me that she isn't qualified to be leading our country. Added to that her "end-timers" Armaggeddonist point of view makes her very dangerous . As for McCain looking old and feeble , you don't need a telescope to see that. It's not a matter of ageism , McCain is an old 72 and he will only get worse.
