Once again, I would like a government that errors on the side of safety, rather than the side of profit. With Kerry that may happen, but with Bush I don't think there is a snowballs chance in a supernova!

Human Mad Cow May Be More Widespread

Scientists have found evidence suggesting that the human form of mad cow disease might be infecting a wider group of people than seen so far and that some may develop a milder form of the illness.

Experts don't know how long the incubation period is; whether everybody is equally vulnerable; exactly how the disease spreads and whether it can be easily passed on before symptoms develop. There is no test to diagnose it, no treatment and no cure.

"By acting in advance of complete certainty, policy makers have potentially protected against vCJD emerging as a new large-scale blood-borne epidemic,"

Once again don't listen to the scare'em, scare'em, scare'em.

Recognize the tactic for exactly what it is; a way to get the ratings up and to distract your attention from what is really important.

That sham has been played time and time again to fool and distract the buffoons in our society.

It's not a tactic exclusive to Democrats, Republicans or anyone else in the publics eye. They all use it!

To bypass this charade requires only one human attribute; THINK!

"They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."
