Where does all that dust come from?

I recently rebaffled and flocked the inside of my refractor. Now it seems like the back of the lens is a dust magnet. Is there anything I can do about that? thank you, Bill

Place a filter (a vacuum bag taped to it should be good enough) on the one end and the vacuum on the other end of the tube and turn on the vacuum until it removes all dust. Quickly replace the objective on the end and you should eliminate most all the dirt inside. Just an idea.

Maybe your dust consists of tiny particles from the flocking.

I have a Meade 1995 Model 386D telescope with all the extra lenses on other excessories. It's in prisine condition. I am thinking about putting it up for sale. Do you know anyone that could give me information about the value of it on today's market or perhaps would like to make me an offer? Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
