Permanent Pier Advice

I'm looking for suggestions for a permanent pier for the backyard. I'll be mounting an A-P 900GTO on it, but if I could get an adapter to permit me to also mount my A-P Mach1GTO that would be even better yet.

I live in Florida, so think humidity. If a sinkhole takes the pier and mount my bedroom is only about 15' away, so there will be bigger fish to fry!

Hi Kelly,
If you use 8" Schedule 10 (as I recall) pipe, then the regular pier adapter for the AP-900 will slip right in, it is the same size as the portable pier. Then all you need is the holes drilled to screw to the pier adapter.
Here is mine on a piece of this pipe, with holes drilled. The upper piece of pipe is the 8" and then it is slipped into a 9" thick wall pipe with 1/2" walls and drilled and bolted. But you could make the pier with just the 8" Schedule 10 pipe in a hole with concrete foot.
