Anyone have experience with these? I guess they're relatively new models.

I was looking for some relatively modestly-priced eyepieces at short focal lengths with decent eye relief, and had almost decided on the Orion Expanse 6 & 9mm, but these look like intriguing alternatives.

You might want to look at cloudy night reviews, someone compared the Siebert standards with the expanse, and the Sieberts came out on top. You can also call Harry Siebert, and talk to him, he's very helpful, and does not want to sell people anything they won't be happy with. I have used a number of his eyepieces, and none of them have been poor (Harry's machining has improved a lot). I have a Siebert barlow and 2 inch observatory eyepiece that are a permanent part of my collection. I also have a couple type 6 Naglers that I am very fond of, TV plossls, an Ortho, and a couple of Monocentrics.

My experience with his EPs is, if he recommends them for your focal length, they work pretty well. Good values, when used with the designated f/l scopes.

Well, I bit the bullet and ordered the 4.4mm and 7.9mm. I'll be using them at f/8 and f/4. If I ever see clear skies again, I'll give a little report.
