I have recently completed my 16in dob project and looking for advice on what lense collection should i consider for my scope. The focal length is approx f6. I prefer to focus on dso. I can handle 2 in eyepiece but currently have a couple of orion 1.25 eyepieces (17 and 25mm). Any help would be appreciated

Hi Tom,
The good news is that at f/6 your scope is more forgiving and the EPs will perform well.
You should consider 3-4 EPs. One long f/l (30-35mm)for wide field views. One short for high power (6-7mm), and one or two to fill in between (12-24mm).
At about $200 per EP, you can find the mid and short f/l EPs of good quality used. The longer one will be harder to find at that price.
The short f/l EP of choice would be the 7mm BO/TMB Planetary EP at 60 degree FOV for $100 new.
The mid range, would be a 14mm Meade 4000 UWA. $170-200 Used
Then with the money saved on the 7mm BO/TMB, you could find a 35mm Panoptic for the $300 used.
These 3 EPs would serve you well until you find out what you might want in specialty EPs.
