Eyepiece cases for big ep's?

What do you use to house those big 2" eyepieces?

Any suggestions to house a 31 Nagler, 20 Nagler and 14 UWA together safely? I can always make something, but just wondering what the rest of you generally do with the bigger eyepieces in your collections.

Cheers!

I carry most of my eyepieces in a Pelican case. These cases are rugged, protect the contents nicely, and keep the elements out. Depending on case size, it's possible to also carry filters, barlows, star diagonal, finder, and other odds and ends.

This is what I use. I use a solid closed cell foam that is military grade non-gassing and will take 30+ G's without deformation. Each has a cut-out that is form fitting. No problems with dropping the case. shocked

My EPs are safe and sound in a Pelican (1520) with 'pick and pluck' foam.

The 2-inch EPs rest horizontally and the 1.25-inch EPs are stored vertically.
