CUSTOM EYEPIECE CASE

I am considering a custom wood case for my planetary eyepieces and am wondering who folks might recommend. Wood is preferred and something nice as well- fancy wood but a durable finish. Any suggestions?

THANKS!

One of our sponsors makes nice cases.

I've also been looking around. Floyd's recommendation is nice. I also found this place.

Hey, skip the wood and go for something a little more durable. Find a Guitar Center. These guys have several types of cases suitable for astrogear. Look at the attached pic. I bought that case at a Guitar Center for $100.

Hi Larry,

You did say "considering" a wood case but ... I have a couple of the Pelican 1600 cases and they will easily hold 75 eyepices along with a nice hydrosorbent silican gel pack. Of course you can get something smaller too. No doubt they are durable.

Oh ... those inexpensive Orion cases work too:

I forgot that Astrosky makes them too. Pretty cheap prices, I think.
