Compromised Meade UWA 4000

I am devastated - I think I've ruined my precious Meade Series 4000 8.8 UWA. I made the ghastly and idiotic mistake of opening it up, assuming that the elements were secured. Instead they spilled out, and although I put them all back together just as they were there is now a narrow ring of light that surrounds the FOV. Who repairs these things, and is it worth it to seek out such services? Any advice would be appreciated, obviously.

I understand that you think this to be true, but the ring of light suggests otherwise. Do you have the diagram? Maybe somebody can post it.
