If you haven't seen it yet ES is beating TV to the punch. At only $499 could this be a gamechanger?

Well...perhaps. Remember, the eypiece's NORMAL price following the introductory price is going to be 600 bucks. Also, if it's like its little sister, it will not be quite as good optically as an Ethos. It may convince Uncle Al to keep his prices out of heartattack range, at least. LOL

Oh, DARN! I just purchased a 82degee 20mm eyepiece figuring a 20mm 100 degree eyepiece would be years away and would cost $1000.

Sigh... I guess I'll just have to put up with viewing through my new "soda-straw" eyepiece. sad

Well, now Anacortes has a pre-order ad for the TeleVue 21mm Ethos! 8O No price is listed, but I am SURE it will be under $1,500!!
