Where can I get foam for my case?

I am trying to locate some Polyurethane Foam that goes in the eyepiece/ telescope cases so I can custom make a case for my eyepieces. Ethafoam would be OK,. I just need a block of it to shape and cut out.

I can't believe: I can't find any retail outlet that carries the stuff.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Try JoAnn's Fabrics or any other fabric store. I've gotten foam there MANY times!

Try Orion. This is the pre-cut case foam used in telescope cases.

For cutting the foam, I use a trick my "crafty" wife taught me (and the same one they use at JoAnn's)... Use an electric knife! Make sure you wipe off the turkey guts first, though! Seriously, this is the best way to cut it.
