Has anyone used these focusers on their scopes? Woule it be beneficial to put a $265.00 focuser on a $500.00 Orion scope? Any thoughts, comments, etc?

Thanks,

Kevin

A good focuser can be used on many scopes. So that if you decided to sell you scope you can just put the original one back on it before you sell it and keep the good focuser. Think of it as an investment like a good EP.
A good dual rate focuser is very helpful at high magnification. It allows you to achieve perfect focus where a coarse movement will not. The Feathertouch, Moonlite, JMI DX1 and the Clement focuser are all good and worth consideration.
