I have a 10" Starfinder (about 10 years old), recently had the primary secondary recoated. Overall in good condition. Can anyone give me an idea of its worth??

Thanks

Rick,

I did a search on the old ads, and found this one.

Looks pretty cheap. You may want to do further searches. I used "Starfinder"

I bought one used recently (this year) for $275. It had a JMI Focuser, Telrad, 8x50 finder, the eq mount, parallax aftermarket rings, and a Magellin I DSC setup.

I took it off the EQ and made into a DOB but I love the optics (now my favorite scope).

This is a good scope. As for what you should pay for it, just check out the ads. It is curious that you could probably get almost as much for the mirror and secondary as you can for the whole thing put together. The mount is usable for visual, although a bit awkward.

I have one of these. I sold the mount (About $225, it was years ago, and I felt satisfied to get that). And still use the wonderful optics in the not so hot tube on my G-11 for astrophotography.
