Celestron 8x50 Polaris Finderscope..Can you Help

Can anyone tell me about this finderscope..It is missing its eyepiece and the mount is broken..Not sure what else I need..Celestron only shows a 7x50 of this type..

Praktika Astro Camera

I have an lab/astro Praktika. I purchased it in around 1980 and it is in excellent like new condition. It has a removable viewfinder with 2 viewfinders one for normal photography and one for astro. It has mirror lockup and an air bulb extension. I believe this camera was a ripoff of a Miranda Laborec. Does anyone have an idea what this camera might be worth? I can supply pictures. Thanks for any help

Eyepiece Sets

Been away from the hobby for a few years and am looking to upgrade my eyepiece collection. Are these sets show on Ebay and others any good? Typically you see the Celestron or Meade sets all supposedly Plossl, also seen a set from Digitec..
Just looking for some advice.

10" Meade f/4.5 mirror

Can anyone give me an estimate on a mid 90's Meade 10" mirror. This came out of a Starfinder (have the mount also). I recently had it and the secondary recoated by L&L Optical. Has not been used since recoating. I ran a search in classifieds but there really wasn't much there to help me figure a worth.

I have the metal mirror cell and spider. Just not sure what to do with this whole setup. Maybe make a Dob??

Meade 2080 GEM Help

Just looking for some info. Recently picked up a Meade 2080 GEM on the "Mart". There was no info on it and wondering if anyone has (or copy of)a manual. The mount has a Polaris scope, (they may have all had this, not sure).

Dr. Clay's Dilemma

Everyone,
Not sure this is right forum but I'll post here.
Recently the Arkansas Observatory (www.arksky.com) got hit by lightning. This is Dr. Clay Sherrod's observatory. I've knowm Clay for several years and we all know that he has always been there for us amateurs.

Looks like the strike took out a couple of computers, ccd cameras and part of a servo system. His insurance is not covering any of it.

Not real sure how to do this but figure after all his years of helping us, here's a chance to help him.

Ultima C11 Questions

I recently acquired an Ultima C11 PEC. The fork arms are ribbed which dates this back a bit, can anyone fill me in on the difference between the ribbed fork Ultima's compared to the sandcast. Are the optical qualities equal?. The base appears to be exactly the same on each.

Anyway, any help sure would be appreciated.
