Meade 12" LX90ACF
By Max Byerly - 2/7/2011

This is my video review of my Meade 12" LX90ACF. I included some upgrades that might be worth purchasing after market.

Here are some photos on how large in fact this telescope is, but surprisingly this telescope is 59 pounds and is very manageable for a average person.

A note about the EZ Clutch from Peterson's

Lately the clutch has been slipping when I put the diagonal on or I take something off, the tube would slip. I decided to buy the EZ Clutch for $30 online and it was well worth it.

The installation of the product did take some time to do it, but you need to be careful because you don't want to damage anything in the fork arm of your telescope. In the end, the slipping of the clutch is done. If you un-tighten the clutch, you turn it a half turn clockwise and its firm and not going to move. It's an amazing product and highly recommend on all scopes.
