My Meade 7" LX200GPS Maksutov-Cassegrain
By Patricia Byerly - 3/24/2008

I recently bought this telescope here on Astromart, and it's a winner. I'm 13 living in Lewisberry, Pennsylvania and this scope is my favorite. I live near the Edward L. Naylor Observatory in Lewisberry, PA. I started off with a 4" Bushnell Reflector that one the members at the observatory gave me. I couldn't find much but it was still fun. A year later I stepped up to a Meade 6" LXD75 w/ Autostar. I didn't like it. I sold that and got this one. With 145,000 objects in the database, electronic focuser, and all the other features the scope wins the award. Stunning views of Orion Nebula, Saturn, Leo's Triplet, Porrima, and the Sombrero Galaxy. With the Meade Series 4000 Eyepiece and filter kit, this is the ultimate scope. If you have a chance to get this scope, buy it. And you don't have to fool around with collimation. Thanks for looking at my review.
