Description
The Heron Galaxy. Actually consists of NGC 5394 and NGC 5395) creating the appearance of a Heron. Several more distant galaxies were captured in the image as well. Initial image cropped to provide a larger view of the interacting galaxies. Taken on 4/20/2026 with a 16" SCT using a Canon Ra with a UV/IR Cut filter. 185X60sec @ ISO 6400.
