Description
NGC 6946 the Fireworks Galaxy. Located on the border of the constellations Cygnus and Cepheus, this face on spiral is approximately 22.5 million light years away. It gets its name from the 8 supernova that have been discovered in it, including the oldest one ever detected in x-rays. Taken on July 25, 2023 with my C14 Edge at F11. No filter was used with a Sony A7S3, stack of 90-41 second subs.
