I haven't done much LiveView captures or Planetary imaging with Lucky Imaging so this was just a few images stacked together using a Takahashi Mewlon 250CRS with a 1.5x extender and a Canon Ra camera. For shooting this event you have to have short exposures so you don't overexpose Jupiter but longer exposures to bring out Saturn. I shot 14 exposures at ISO 100 at 1/20 second and a few others at ISO 100 at 1/15 and 1/10 second. Seeing was not good until a very brief moment on Dec. 22 and that's when I captured my images. Since 1/20 second was a bit too much on Jupiter, the detail was muted and I could only use 14 images to stack. But on Saturn I was able to stack a few more.
