This is the same image acquisition as posted before. A slightly different post processing in Digital Photo Professional to illuminate more of the shadowed region on the right reveals a couple features on the surface. The one peak near the equator is most likely Olympus Mons. Mars does exhibit slight phases like this when at quadrature where the angle between Earth-Sun-Mars is about 90 degrees.
