Description

This is from a stack of 10 exposures at ISO 800 and 300 second duration taken from my back porch on 5/30/20. Guided with PHD2 software interfacing with APT software. A 60mm guide scope and ZWO camera were used. The main image camera was a Canon Ra attached to a Takahashi FSQ-130ED with a focal ratio of f/5.0. Thus the initial stacked image was cropped quite a bit. Deep Sky Stacker was used to stack the 10 images. No darks, no flats and no bias frames were used. Stacked image was processed in Photoshop. The photos were taken during a bright quarter moon phase but I did use a Skytech LPRO MAX filter. This session was a test of my new way of guiding since I was previously guiding with the SBIG STV. I did use dithering on this evening but found that I did not move the scope enough to benefit from the dithering.
