This is a single image taken with a Canon T3i on a 14.5" Zambuto mirror Starmaster Dobsonian with Sky Commander Go To. This is one of several taken the evening of August 13. For this image, there is minimal cropping to show a wide range of lunar features. A high pass filter layer in Photoshop was applied to help sharpen, as well as a mild wavelet enhancement process in Registax 6. Copernicus spans 93km, with the rays spreading as far as 800km outward. The high pass enhancement in Photoshop, usually used for sharpening, also helps highlight the rays.
