M42 resides in the sword of the constellation of Orion and is one of the most beautiful objects in the heavens. To resolve faint details, a collection of exposures ranging from 5 seconds to 6 minutes were used. A Televue 4" telescope and a SBIG camera were used to capture this object. The image was processed using Photoshop and PixInsight. See if you can make out the word "GOD" in the cloud cover.
