Magnificent edge-on galaxy in the constellation of Sculptor imaged at the AP remote observatory at Las Campanas. Individual image frames acquired by Howard Hedlund at AP using the 12" F8 astrograph, and processed by Dave Jurasevich. The dark skies and typical 0.5 arc second or better seeing at Las Campanas makes it an ideal location for high resolution imaging.
