Description
Giant sunspot group has been the largest sunspot of this current solar cycle. It is not unusual for large sunspot group to occur late in the solar cycle. At its largest extension AR2192 measured over 11 times the diameter of the Earth. This spot group was also easily seen with the protected naked eye.
