I had a few friends over and we watched the eclipse through telescopes and binoculars from the landing in front of my new place. I was shooting stills and video - everything went great until the totality phase, when a whole bunch of clouds moved in. I kept shooting through the clouds and the rare moments of clarity were absolutely breathtaking. Of course, as soon as totality was over, the clouds disappeared just like that... here's a nice one when it was clear. It took several seconds of exposure and quite a few stars are showing. I used a Stellarvue 110 ED in prime focus with a Nikon D600. Two seconds exposure at ISO 1600.
