Description
Abell 21, the Medusa Nebula, in bicolor (Ha, OIII). 6.5 hours total exposure, stacked in CCDStack and processed in Photoshop CS4. Meade 12" LX200R (ACF) scope, Bellerophon focuser, Optec Pyxis 3" rotator, Astrodon MOAG and 3nm narrowband filters, and SBIG STL-11000 camera with FW-8 filter wheel, all in 8' Sirius observatory. Taken January 18-21, 2013 at Sierra Skies Observatory in El Dorado Hills, California.
