Description
Single shot image of the 21 January 2013 "conjunction". At my midwest US location, it was more of a "close approach". I managed to find a single exposure condition that allowed 1 shot to get both the Moon and Jupiter, even though the moon is many times brighter. Canon Digital Rebel with Canon Manual 200mm FD lens and adapter. Exposure conditions: 1/50th second at 100 iso, lens at f/16 setting. Registax 3 used to wavelet process and sharpen image.
