Both images were taken from my backyard in Santa Monica, with two entirely different instruments: a 10-inch Dobsonian and a 110 ED refractor. I used eyepiece projection, creating about a dozen subs that were stitched together in Photoshop. Next to showing the moon's libration it is a nice comparison of the two scopes. I think the 110 ED wins by a hair, but it's definitely a close call.
