Description
Here is a wide field shot of the Great Orion Nebula area taken the other night with an 8" F/2.6 astrograph under dark skies at Sierra Chaparral Observatory. Seeing 1.5 arc seconds sky quality 21.8 mag/ arc sec. An halpha 13nm filter was used during (3) 12 min subframes for a total 36 min exposure, using a STIL 11000M sensor.
