NGC4725 LRGB image taken over 4 nights in May 2011 at Sierra Skies Observatory in northern California - where we are still getting snow in the Sierras in late May! 8.3 hours total exposure, including 12 Luminance images (20 min each, binned 1x1) and 31 RGB images (5-10 minutes each, binned 2x2). Taken through a 12" LX200R (ACF) scope with an STL-11000M camera using Custom Scientific filters and the AO-L adaptive optics. Paramount ME on Software Bisque pier in a 2.3m Sirius dome. Difficult processing, as the spiral arm was down in the noise, nearly at our sky brightness level. Small galaxy at bottom is the 12.5 magnitude NGC4712.
