The edge-on galaxy NGC4244 (also called Caldwell 26), taken by the STL-11000M camera through my 12" LX200R scope mounted on a Paramount ME in the 2.3m Sirius dome. Only 3.9 hours of LRGB data collected so-far (nearly an equal amount of data was discarded due to weather and technical difficulties). Optec Pyxis 2" rotator and TCF-S 2" focuser were used to frame and focus image, and AO-L was used at low speed due to dim guide star. Taken over 2 nights in mid-May 2011 at Sierra Skies Observatory.
