Description

First light from my remote observatory at Rancho Hidalgo, New Mexico. Date acquired: February – March 2011 Location: Rancho Hidalgo, Animas, New Mexico Exposure Details: L: 63 x 10 Minutes Binned 1x1 R: 15 x 10 Minutes Binned 1x1 G: 15 x 10 Minutes Binned 1x1 B: 15 x 10 Minutes Binned 1x1 Equipment Used: Takahashi TOA-130F with flattener at f/7.7 on an Astro-Physics AP1200GTO. SBIG STL-6303 with 8-position filter wheel and Astrodon filters. Guided using the camera's built-in guide chip. Acquisition Software: MaximDL, TheSky6, CCDAutopilot Processing Software: MaximDL, Photoshop CS4, IrFanView, Noel Carboni Actions , Russell Croman Gradient Xterminator.
