RGB composite created in Photoshop from 3 2-minute exposures. Scope is Vixen 102mm f9 fluorite APO refractor. Camera is Canon Digital Rebel at prime focus, 800iso, IR filter removed. Mount is CG5 modified for gearless tow-line tracking, so no guiding or PEC needed. Each image was adjusted with curves to assign to R, G, or B, then combined with layers, sharpened, and final color adjust. Images taken 8 June 2008 from Loveland Ohio light polluted skies.
