October 10, 2007 Imaging scope was Orion ED80 Canon Rebel XT - Hap Griffin Modified 14 x 300s Guided with PHD & EQMOD DSLR Focus V3, IRIS, PS CS3 The famous double cluster in Perseus was known in antique times (probably even pre-historically), and first cataloged by the Greek astronomer Hipparcos.
