Description
Here is a full sequence of the total Lunar Eclipse of February 20, 2008. Shot from my backyard under clear but frigid conditions. Each exposure was taken at five minute intervals to record the progress of the Moon through the Earths shadow. Olympus C-3040Z digital point and shoot camera, operating afocally with a Meade 26mm plossl through a Borg 76ED on an Astro-Physics AP1200 mount. ISO settings were 200 for the brighter phases and 400 for the dimmer ones. Maximum exposure was 2.5 seconds for the dimmer phases and minimum was 1/400 for the brighter phases.
