Photographed 2-Feb-2008 at the Stonelick Lake public observing event. This is a single 2-minute 800iso exposure with my Canon Digital Rebel with the IR filter removed. Scope is my 102mm f9 Vixen Fluorite APO Refractor. Mount is CG5 modified for Gearless Tow-Line Tracking using a Frequency Controlled Inverter driving an AC synchronous motor. Setup time with this equipment is 10 minutes, including polar alignment. Photographs can be taken within a couple minutes of locating object.
