Photographed 2-Feb-2008 at Stonelick Lake public observing event. This is a single 3-minute exposure at 800 iso with my Canon Digital Rebel camera with IR filter removed and custom white balance. Scope is 102mm f9 Vixen Fluorite APO Refractor. Mount is my CG5 modified for Gearless Tow-Line Tracking powered by a frequency controlled inverter. Setup takes about 10 minutes from scratch (including polar alignment), and photographs can be taken within a couple minutes after object is located.
