I was walking in Boyd Hill Nature Preserve (St. Pete, FL) and spotted this guy a couple of feet off of one of the boardwalks. He allowed me to take some shots of him. I was never in danger, nor was the gator ever spooked by my presence at all. The best part is, if you look close into his eye, you can SEE MY REFLECTION! Hint: youll see the rails of the boardwalk, and Im crouching shooting the picture through the rails. Im wearing a white cap, you can see my legs in the sunlight because I was wearing shorts, and you can see my left elbow in the light as Im supporting the camera.
