Description
This Sandhill Crane was photographed in Yellowstone National Park. I thought Id have trouble getting a decent photo with a 200mm lens while motorcycle touring, but this bird walked right up to me. It got so close I got worried and had to back away. The Rangers get touchy when you are too close to the wildlife. Shooting data; Nikon D200, Nikon 18-200mm VR, 200mm, f5.6, 1/125 sec., ISO 100.
