Taken at Nightfall, an Imaging conference sponsored by RTMC in the Anza Borrego Desert of California in October of ‘07. Shot with a Vixen R200SS at f4 and a Rebel XT modified. It is a combination of 30sec and 300sec exposures using the mask feature of Photoshop to insert the core of the galaxy from the 30sec exposures on to the core of the galaxy of the 300sec exposures. Doing this will give detail from the bright dense core out to the faint spiral arms. Captured and combined in ImagesPlus and processed in CS2. Autoguiding with a WM Optics 80 and Phd Guiding
