Description
Comet 17P?Holmes from San Jose, CA Nov 1 2007 Tak FS 152 with dedicated 4 FF SBIG STL11000M/C2 Astrodon Filters 18 30 second subs, calibrated then cropped to just the comet and resampled to 3x. Those resampled images then registered in CCDStack. Shows core detail including not only the hourglass and jets to north and south and darker zones where something (possibly a bit of the comet) blocking expanding shell of gas.
