First image with my 10 LX200 f/6.3 telescope. Compared to my ED-80 on an EQ-6 mount, this is an astrophotographic beast. The good news is it doesnt take much time to collect a lot of photons. Total exposure is 30 min: 9 min Lum, 9min R, 6 min G, and 6 min B. This represents my first image with the ST2000XM camera when guided by the Meade DSI using PHD software. Also, this is the first image with the LX200/ST2000 combo. Bottom line, the long focal length (1.6 meters) combined with the fork mounts combine to make this a tough astrophotography platform to master.
