Description
M82 exposures to highlight the gas emissions with the Ha filter. These jets are created by the radiation from the intense stars formation area in the center of the galaxy, activated by the gravitational interaction with the nearby galaxy M81. Meade RCX16 Alt/Az mount. RGB and R-Ha blend-GB 10x30 seconds unguided exposures per channel. SBIG ST8XME with CFW10. 2p2binning. Taken in Cincinnati (OH) on March 11th 2007.
