Description
The huge (~20x30 degrees!) collection of arcs called the Eridanus Loop. The bright portion is cataloged as Sh2-245 and also as LBN836. Taken with a Nikon 50mm, STL6303 camera, Barr Associates 4nm H alpha filter. 20 hours total exposure (one hour subframes), processing in Maxim with unsharp mask to increase the contrast.
