The picture was taken in Churchill, Canada. Every November the bears come to Churchill to wait for the ice to form at Hudson Bay. In my first night there I was waken up by the outside light. I hoped it was Aurora Borealis, but it was not. It was a police car trying to catch a huge bear just below my window.
